Privacy Policy

PeerWise is designed around private reflection. This policy explains what data the app may process, why it is used, and how deletion or export requests work.

Private discernment, not public judgment

PeerWise is built for private reflection, evidence, humility, and wise next steps. It is not a place to publish ratings, diagnose people, expose people, or make high-stakes decisions.

What PeerWise Is

PeerWise is a private reasoning and discernment platform centered on understanding people. It also provides focused Relationship, News, and Personal Decision Case workspaces for organizing evidence, interpretations, claims, uncertainty, revision, and wise next steps.

PeerWise is not a social network, public review platform, rating app, public directory, diagnostic tool, investigation service, or source of legal, medical, employment, housing, credit, or emergency advice.

Information You Provide

You may enter private profile details, Case titles and questions, relationship context, decision options and criteria, source cards, evidence logs, facts, interpretations, claims, belief updates, trait reflections, summaries, Godfrey guidance prompts, Jenkins public-research requests, settings, support messages, and billing choices.

You should avoid entering unnecessary sensitive information, especially information about health, children, finances, legal matters, immigration, exact addresses, private identifiers, or intimate details that are not needed for wise personal discernment.

How We Use Information

PeerWise uses your information to provide the private app experience: saving Person Profiles and Cases, showing evidence and source relationships, helping you revise confidence, generating Godfrey or Jenkins guidance when requested, managing plans and credits, responding to support, improving safety, and maintaining the service.

PeerWise does not publish private profiles or Cases, sell public ratings, create public people pages, or expose your private notes to other users.

AI Processing

When live AI features are enabled, relevant user-provided context may be sent to AI providers to generate Godfrey guidance, Jenkins public-research synthesis, or wisdom reports.

AI output can be incomplete, mistaken, too certain, or based on ambiguous context. You remain responsible for reviewing suggestions before relying on them.

Payments and Credits

Subscription checkout, billing portal, payment events, and optional Jenkins credit packs may be processed by payment providers such as Stripe, Apple, Google, or RevenueCat depending on the platform.

PeerWise should not store full card numbers. Payment providers may process payment details under their own terms and privacy policies.

Analytics and Logs

PeerWise may use privacy-conscious product analytics and operational logs to understand reliability, route health, billing events, usage limits, and aggregate product behavior.

Private profile names, Case titles, evidence or article text, claims, notes, report content, and Godfrey/Jenkins prompt or output content should not be intentionally sent as analytics event names or custom analytics payloads.

Storage and Access Controls

Supabase-backed data is modeled as user-owned private data, with Row Level Security policies intended to restrict each user to their own profiles, Cases, evidence, claims, sources, summaries, AI usage records, billing records, data exports, and deletion requests.

Server-only credentials must stay on the server. Public client code should use publishable keys and authenticated user sessions, not service-role secrets.

Sharing and Service Providers

PeerWise may share limited data with service providers that operate hosting, databases, authentication, payment processing, AI processing, email, analytics, and customer support.

PeerWise is not designed to sell personal information or share private profile content for third-party advertising.

Deletion, Export, and Correction

You can delete individual Person Profiles and Cases where self-serve controls are available. You can also request account-wide deletion, data export, correction, or review through Settings, the Data Rights page, or support.

Deletion may require reasonable time for processing, backups, security logs, payment records, legal obligations, and fraud-prevention records.

Children and Minors

PeerWise is not intended for children. Do not use PeerWise to profile or evaluate children, students, employees, applicants, tenants, borrowers, patients, or other people in high-stakes decision contexts.
