Private discernment, not public judgment
PeerWise is built for private reflection, evidence, humility, and wise next steps. It is not a place to publish ratings, diagnose people, expose people, or make high-stakes decisions.
PeerWise exists to help you understand people wisely without jumping to conclusions. It should never become a tool for gossip, public shaming, revenge, manipulation, or harsh labeling.
Relationship Cases may help separate facts from fear, prepare a direct conversation, consider boundaries, and hold uncertainty. They must not be used to establish infidelity, betrayal, deception, abuse, or hidden motive from thin or ambiguous evidence.
Never use PeerWise to encourage stalking, location tracking, unauthorized device or account access, impersonation, harassment, unlawful covert recording, device searches, or public accusation. Seek qualified safety support when danger may be present.
News Cases should distinguish factual accuracy, framing, omission, rhetoric, persuasion, editorial viewpoint, misinformation, and uncertainty. Bias or disagreement alone does not establish propaganda.
Source cards and Jenkins research can be incomplete or wrong. Review original materials, primary evidence, dates, corroboration, and contradictions before relying on a conclusion.
Decision Cases organize options, criteria, assumptions, uncertainty, reversibility, and predicted outcomes. PeerWise does not make the final decision or guarantee an outcome.
For legal, medical, financial, safety, or similarly high-stakes choices, use the workspace to organize questions and evidence, then consult a qualified professional.
Slow down before saving strong negative claims. Ask what was directly observed, what is interpretation, what evidence is missing, and what would change your mind.
- Could this be a hasty generalization from one event?
- Am I ignoring counterevidence or alternative explanations?
- Am I assuming motive from outcome?
- Am I using the app because I want truth, or because I want certainty while upset?
Do not use PeerWise to diagnose narcissism, personality disorders, mental illness, addiction, trauma, dangerousness, deception, or moral guilt.
You may record observable behavior and tentative hypotheses, but leave diagnosis and risk assessment to qualified professionals.
Do not use PeerWise to decide hiring, firing, promotion, housing, lending, insurance, education, medical care, legal strategy, pastoral discipline, custody, immigration, criminal, or emergency outcomes.
PeerWise is not designed for candidate ranking, automated performance scoring, suspect identification, guilt assessment, criminal investigation, or vigilante activity.
Jenkins public research must be optional, user-confirmed, credit-based, lawful, and limited to public information. Do not use Jenkins to stalk, dox, identify private locations, uncover private data, or pressure a person.
Prefer humility, direct clarification, patient observation, wise counsel, healthy boundaries, documentation for your own clarity, and safety planning when needed.
If there is immediate danger or abuse, use emergency and professional support rather than the app.
